Beginners
Coaching for beginners is an area I enjoy, seeing an angler catch their first fish is always special. From that moment on you will quite literally be "hooked"
You will generally start by using a short elastic pole called a whip, to this is attached line float and hook, no reels are used for this type of fishing. This will be set up ready for you to use, the aim at this stage is to get you catching fish as soon as possible.
As the session progresses you will be shown how to set up the tackle from scratch including making up rigs and tying on hooks etc.
Some new anglers naturally progress faster than others therefore other angling equipment will be available for use such as longer poles, float and leger rods and reels.
All you need to do is to bring yourself , your lunch and a drink.
If you have been bought your own equipment and would like to be shown how to correctly set it all up that is of course absolutely fine and I am happy to do this.
On my "Tuition Costs" page you will see I have a special beginners set of fees for groups of two or three as well as my standard one to one costs. Group fees represent a great saving on my standard one to one cost and if you are able to get a few of you together this is the ideal way to get that start in angling.
We will have a great day and will catch plenty of fish.
